OOps Just Forget about Malaysia Day

Malaysia Day - 1st after 47 years....

That’s 31 August 1957 and 16 Sep 1963
Especially the 2 states that complete the formation of the country Malaysia. Its about 50 years politicians for these 2 states ( Sabah and Sarawak) were just ignorant. They may not be guilty or otherwise about the final day. I am thankful for the current PM of Malaysia YB Dato’ Seri Nazib Razak the son of the former prime minister who prophesized the 1Malaysia concept. He must have been looking at the fundamental as to why the Malaysians in West Malaysia states ( Johore, Selangor, Malacca, Pahang, kelantan, Terenganu,Perak, Kedah,Perlis, Negeri Sembilan)  don’t talk and understand so much about their counterpart in East Malaysian states of Sabah and Sarawak. They ( almost all politicians) mentioned about Chinese, Indian, Melayu and none about the minority tribe from Sabah and Sarawak. Its always CIM or MIC ( Melayu India Cina). “It is this large group of Malaysians from the two Borneo states that we sometimes forget. It is not only the Malays, Chinese and Indians but also our brothers and sisters in Sabah and Sarawak who make up the voices of Malaysia,” said Dr Chua the president of a prominent Chinese political party.
That upset everybody in these 2 states. That’s more or less marginilised them in Malaysia. Actually  politicians in those days did not want Sabah and Sarawak to be included in Malaysia but to complete it in a full pledge ingredient or recipe for submission to the UN these 2 states  were included on condition that they endorsed the 20 points. These 20 points is only for Sabah and Sarawak.
The state of Sabah has 32 officially recognised ethnic groups and Sarawak is have 28 ethnic groups, making up a sizeable extent of the population composition in the country.

 In the political consciousness of Malaysians in the peninsula, Merdeka always falls on Aug 31. For Sabahans and Sarawakians, Malaysia achieved independence on Sept 16
